Job configurator¶
General¶
If a vision project template is used to create a Viper project, a kind of wizard is started that guides the user step by step through all the steps required to create an image processing job. These steps are then explained.
Create type¶

Both ID and Name must be unique. The details can be changed again later. Description and image are optional, they are displayed in the loading dialog.
Job parameters¶

Both Job name and Toolgroup name must be assigned uniquely. Each job requires at least one toolgroup that it can execute. Furthermore, Job type and Display type can be selected.
In this context, Viper can also automatically create an image source of a specific type. All image sources that are currently available are listed here. If the hardware for the corresponding image source is not available, it can also be simulated.
A vision station can also be created automatically and linked to the job.
Configure image source¶

A file-based image source was selected in the example. More information on configuring image sources: Standard image sources
After closing the image source settings, the job is loaded and can be executed
